A plain-language description of what this website collects, how we use it, and who else handles it. Last updated October 28, 2026.
What you send us through our forms
Quote request form: product, size, grade, the quantity you need (including the truckload choice and any exact quantity), length, delivery city, state and ZIP code, timeline, intended use, business type, whether your site can unload a flatbed, your name, company or ranch name (optional), phone, email, notes, and your agreement to be contacted.
Supplier offer form: material, size, weight or wall, grade or condition, condition notes, approximate joint count, loading availability, city and state, availability, asking price (optional), yard or lease name, up to two photos (optional), your name, company, phone, email, role, notes, and your confirmation that you own the material or are authorized to sell it.
Hidden fields added automatically to both forms: the page you submitted from, the page you first landed on during your visit, the referring website address (without its query string), any campaign tags in the link you followed (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term), any Google Ads click identifier in that link (gclid, gbraid or wbraid), whether a quote request asked for a truckload quantity, a random reference number for the submission, and how long the form was open before it was sent (used to spot automated spam).
Where your submission is stored and who can see it
Each form submission is sent to two places at the same time, so a request is not lost if one of them has a problem:
- Netlify Forms, our website host’s form service, stores the submission (including any photos) and emails us a copy. Netlify may place a submission in a spam folder instead of sending us the email.
- A backup Google Sheet in Tiki Sourcing’s Google Workspace account stores the text of the submission (not the photos), along with the time it was received, a reference number, whether it looked like a duplicate or automated submission, and whether our backup email notification was sent. A backup email copy is sent to our sourcing@tikisourcing.com inbox.
Only the people who run Tiki Sourcing and can sign in to our Netlify account or our Google Workspace account can see these records. Netlify and Google handle the data on our behalf as service providers.
Information stored in your browser
To fill in those hidden fields, the site stores the campaign tags, landing page and referrer in your browser for the current visit (session storage). If you arrived from a Google ad, the click identifier is kept in your browser’s local storage for up to 90 days so a later request can still be matched to that ad click. After you submit a form, a short-lived marker is stored for the current tab so the thank-you page knows the submission succeeded; it is removed as soon as the thank-you page loads. You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings.
How we use it
We use what you send to review your request or offer, contact you about it, prepare quotes and offers, and keep a record of our conversations. We use the source fields to understand which ads, listings and links bring in inquiries. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use it for unrelated marketing lists.
Who else handles it
- Netlify hosts this website and processes and stores form submissions, including uploaded photos. Netlify also sends us an email copy of each submission. Like most web hosts, Netlify keeps technical server logs of requests (for example IP address, browser type, pages requested and time). Netlify may run spam filtering on form submissions. See Netlify’s privacy policy at https://www.netlify.com/privacy/.
- Google Workspace (Google) provides our business email and the Google Sheet and Google Apps Script we use as a backup record of form submissions. Email copies of submissions and the backup spreadsheet are stored in Tiki Sourcing’s Google Workspace account. When you submit a form, your browser also sends the text of the form directly to Google (script.google.com), which includes your IP address as part of the request; photos are not sent to Google. See Google’s privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
- Google Fonts: pages load the Barlow typeface from Google’s font servers, which means your browser sends a request (including your IP address) to Google when a page loads.
- Google Ads conversion tracking: the site includes code to measure whether a Google ad click leads to a form submission. As of the date above it is not active: no Google Ads account ID has been added, so no Google Ads tag is loaded and nothing is sent to Google Ads. If we activate it, the Google tag would load only on a visit that arrives from one of our Google ads and on the thank-you page right after a successful form submission, it would report the conversion (a quote request, a truckload-quantity quote request, or a supplier offer) to Google Ads, and Google may set cookies to connect that conversion to the ad click. We have turned off ad personalization signals in that code, and we don’t use Google Analytics or remarketing on this site. More information: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads. We will update this page if this changes.
We may also share information if required by law, or with a carrier or supplier when that is needed to quote or complete an order you asked about.
Keeping and removing your information
We keep submissions, the backup spreadsheet rows and related email for as long as we need them for the request, any resulting business, and our records. To ask what we have about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email us.
